Mountaintop Mint, a cross between The Bling and a strain called Mac Mints, is a 50/50 hybrid strain. It is a Bx1 and therefore does give rise to some variability in the plants as it is not yet fully stabilised. However, the quality was such that Humboldt Seed Co. decided that it was just too good to withhold from the growing public.
Mountaintop Mints longer flowering cycle produces very good yields of very sticky, trichome-covered buds. Indoors, flowering lasts for 70 days while outdoor growers in northern latitudes will harvest sometime between October 5th and 20th.
Terpene production is heavily minty and is reminiscent of spearmint and menthol while the flavour has a Skunk-y finish. The longer flowering produces extremely high amounts of THC at between 26 – 30%. The overall effect is both physically devastating as well as mind-numbing.
