Hawaii Maui Waui Feminized is an interbred line, meaning that she is the 6th generation of breeding lines. A sativa that will require 9-11 weeks to flower before harvesting and can grow very tall in a short amount of time, so we recommend this strain to those with previous experience with aggressive, fast-growing sativas.

She is best suited for those with unlimited height indoors and outdoors. Due to her long flowering period, we advise this strain to those who experience long summers living in a hot climate, as her buds may take a long time to fully finish.

Indoor

Expect this lady to grow with thin woody branches, large internodal spacing, and long side branching. The appearance of the leaves will be thin fingered and long and serrated, where they can grow as big as your hand, meaning she is one of our more difficult strains to grow.

Make sure you are frequently maintaining this strain indoors, especially during the final stages of the long-winded flowering period.

Outdoor

Hawaii Maui Waui Feminized can become massive outdoors. Fan leaves can become enormous, giving her a true, tropical and exotic vibe. She will grow tall rapidly and if left untrained may exceed 200 cm (78 inches) in some cases.

We recommend this cultivar for growers who experience hot climates with long seasons, to give the plants plenty of time to mature.

Depending on the phenotype, flowering time will vary between 63-77 days, with the most productive plants requiring the longest.

Pot size and light intensity can also determine the flowering time when grown indoors.

Outdoor

Outdoors when planted in Spring time, plants will require 9-11 weeks depending on the climate. A harvest date of mid to late October can be scheduled.

Yield

Indoor

Yields can reach 450 g/m² (1,5 oz per square foot) indoors, where she produces thick, spear shaped buds.

Outdoor

Outdoors yields of up to 500 grams (17.5 oz) per plant can be achieved outdoors in a hot climate.

For the best results, we advise growing the plants in a South-facing location.

Plant height & structure

Her structure will be thin branches, open and lanky. The internodal spacing during the vegetative stage will be large, and once flowered will stretch almost trebling in height.

The height of the plants come harvest time will be 150-180 cm (59-70 inches) tall, so ensure you have plenty of room before flowering.

Training

Training Hawaii Maui Waui Feminized is recommended and a great way to control the final height of the plants, once flowering has commenced. Tying down or topping a few weeks before flowering starts will help control the stretch and overall final height.
